ANSWERS:
1. I've been on DeviantART for seven years! Since I was 14. I'm now 21.
2. This username literally means "go island". I don't remember how I chose it, maybe I made it up and liked the way it sounded. I've been using it since I was younger, obviously, and it was mostly due to an anime phase.
3. Eccentric, numb, complicated.
4. Right handed! Phew. I don't think I could manage left handed.
5. Oi! It was a poorly edited photo that I took with my webcam. I don't know what I was thinking! Lol. But we all improve over time and I think I did.
6. My favorite type of art to create is photography, basically. Though sketches are a close second.

My deviantART story

I've been a member of DeviantART for seven years. So since I was...14 years old, I've used this website to share my artwork. I started out the way most people do. For me, I didn't have a camera, so I mostly used my webcam and phone. I did poor edits and didn't even realize it.
Since joining DeviantART I've seen lots of amazing artwork that inspired me to improve. I began borrowing cameras, and eventually got one of my own. I still use the same editing website, but now I try to edit the pictures more reasonably than before. I'm proud of how far I've come experience and skill wise but I have so much longer to go. I'm not a professional photographer in any way but I still love taking pictures. I've also grown a lot mentally since joining, and met some really cool people on here along the way. This place never ceases to catch my eye though I'm not as active as I should be. I will continue to share my work with DeviantART as I improve!

Hey everyone! I'm sorry it's been so long since the last update via my journal, but here I am. You haven't missed much, fortunately.
I only do photography as a casual part time thing, as in amateur photography. I don't know the first thing about cameras, other than how to zoom in and out, use the flash, and...yeah, that's the major gist of what I know. I can't tell you anything about my camera other than it's a Canon. I don't know anything else.
So when you see my photography, keep in mind these are just pictures I take because I think what I see is beautiful or memorable or interesting. I don't really know what I'm doing and I don't claim to.
As for my art deviations, I've gotten a lot better at drawing in recent years but it's rare that I draw anymore. I can't draw without using a reference.
Anyways!
I just wanted to say that (hopefully) I should be getting an amazing camera valued at about 450 dollars that will help me take even better pictures. Despite my lack of knowledge about cameras, I take great shots when given a great camera.

As you know, yesterday was the 4th of July - I got some great pictures! I can't wait to post them and get feedback - and hopefully more watchers!
I'm just beyond pleased with some of the pictures I've seen. I've yet to look at all of them but I know you guys will love them. (Hopefully.)
